Getting your Real Estate signs installed for your listing is easy with MotionPADs! Simply order a photoshoot and you’ll be able to add a sign install to your order! We install the post the same day as the photoshoot. We provide the post, rider clips, and hooks – all ready for you to add your panel and riders!

Sign Installation FAQs


Can I order just a sign install?

Starting in March of 2023, all sign installs must accompany a photoshoot. You can no longer order just a sign install.

What time are signs installed?

Signs are typically installed the same time as your photoshoot order.

How do I get my signs to you?

The best way to get your signs to us is to leave them at your upcoming property and we’ll pick them up once you placed your order. You can also contact us via text or phone at 919-649-5140 to schedule a time for us to pick up your signs.

How long does it take to install the sign?

When you order a sign install, you choose what date is available. We will install the sign anytime during normal business hours – typically anytime between 9-5pm.

Do I own the sign posts, riders, or brochure boxes?

When using our sign installation service, we are renting the posts, rider, and brochure boxes to you. They are the property of MotionPADs.

What sign riders do you offer?

We carry these sign riders: Coming Soon, Under Contract, Open House, Basement, Waterfront, Pool, Acreage, I’m Gorgeous Inside, & Zombie Free.

What if the sign is damaged, stolen, or lost from the property?

In the event that the sign post, riders, or brochure box is damaged, stolen, or lost – a $50 fee will be charged for the post, $5 for the rider, and $10 for the brochure box. If the post, rider, or brochure box is returned, then we will refund you the fee.

What constitutes a Revisit Property?

Anytime we need to come back out to the property to add/change a rider, brochure box and/or repair.

What about irrigation, underground fencing, or utilities?

If your property has any irrigation, underground fencing, or special utilities – we require the agent or homeowner to mark the location of the sign post to be installed. MotionPADs is not responsible for any damages that may occur to underground utilities.

The property has closed. Now what?

Once the property has closed, please contact us via text or phone at 919-649-5140 and we will make sure to pickup the sign within 24 hours. It’s recommended that you contact us days before closing to schedule pickup. It is the agents responsibility to let us know when the property closed.

Height Restrictions

Cary and Chapel Hill: Only 4 foot posts allowed. Apex, Durham and Fuquay-Varina: 6 posts allowed only outside city limits. It’s the agents responsibility to be aware of any restrictions when placing order.

HOA Restrictions

MotionPADs does not check HOA restrictions on signs. This is the agents responsibility when placing the order.
